Connect is a free monthly pop-up art exhibit that invites all visual artists to showcase their art (up to two pieces). Helpful connections and friendships are made as artists learn skills necessary for art careers, gained through lectures, workshops, and activities. Attendees complete the evening by voting for their favorite art, an experience which helps prepare and educate the participating artists.
Our events, perfect for emerging artists and art lovers, occur at the Urban Arts Gallery (and Online), Gallery. Established 2010 by Utah Arts Alliance in Salt Lake City, UT.

IS CONNECT CANCELED?
No! Connect has moved online due to the COVID 19 epidemic. Artists meet via ZOOM and discuss art they have uploaded to our website, ConnectforArt.org.
HOW DO I FIND CONNECT ONLINE?
Be sure to join our monthly newsletter! Subscribe by emailing email@example.com -- let him know you’d like to be added to the newsletter. You will get all the links necessary to participate in our events.

HOW DOES VOTING WORK ONLINE?
Through the help of computers! Each art piece is automatically assigned a voting number when a form is filled out. At 7:35pm sharp, our Tech Manager adds a “Vote Now” tab to our website (connectforart.org). Patrons and artists alike then vote on the “Vote Now” tab. The voting ballot allows for three votes and the art is displayed on the side with their proper correlating voting number.
HOW OFTEN DO YOU HAVE EVENTS?
We have a regular event every 2nd Friday of the month (minus December and January). We also have extra monthly events peppered throughout the months.
WILL CONNECT RETURN TO IN PERSON?
Yes! We are planning to have our October and November 2nd Friday events at the Urban Arts Gallery! We also plan to host our December Connect Finals in person.
